Knee Alignment
A straightforward approach to tibial recuts.
The Enztec Tibial Recut Block provides guidance for adjusting the tibial resection by 2° in varus or valgus during total knee arthroplasty (TKA).
Its asymmetrical design and considered pin positioning help minimise soft tissue interference, supporting minimally invasive surgical workflows.
Enquire nowThe Enztec Tibial Recut Block is available in varus and valgus configurations to support 2° varus or valgus recuts of the tibial plateau. Rounded geometry and considered pin location and orientation help minimise soft tissue interference and irritation, while the tibial paddle is sized to reduce interference on smaller knees.
Clear angle markings indicate the direction of adjustment, while an engraved centre line provides a visible reference for AP axis alignment when the block is in situ. The open body design also supports straightforward cleaning and sterilisation.

The engraved centre line provides a clear visual reference for AP axis alignment, extending through the tibial paddle and pinning area to support accurate positioning of the tibial recut block.
Available in varus and valgus configurations, with each block suitable for both left and right knees. Clear markings make configuration easy to identify, while the bilateral design helps to accommodate minimally invasive techniques.
The tibial paddle is sized to minimise interference in smaller knees while maintaining sufficient contact with the average tibial cortex for stable positioning.
Multiple pin options provide flexibility for different surgical preferences, while rounded geometry minimises soft tissue interference. Optimised pin location and orientation also reduce interference with primary pinning and help prevent pin and instrument clashes.
A tibial recut block is used to make controlled adjustments to the tibial resection during total knee arthroplasty, allowing the surgeon to refine the amount of bone removed after the primary tibial cut.
A tibial recut block can be used when an additional tibial resection is required following the primary tibial cut, providing a controlled method for adjusting tibial resection height and alignment.
The Tibial Recut Block provides 2° varus and 2° valgus adjustment, allowing controlled correction of the tibial resection angle.
Yes. Each Tibial Recut Block is suitable for both left and right knees, reducing the number of blocks required within an instrument set.
The tibial paddle has been sized to minimise interference in smaller knees while maintaining sufficient contact with the average tibial cortex for stable positioning.
The Tibial Recut Block weighs 205 g (0.45 lbs), and the dimensions are length 71mm (2.8in), width 84mm (3.3in), and depth 40mm (1.6).
